oops
i’m going to attend my first rushed-as-hell wedding where the bride is close to 3 months pregnant. big oops there.
i can’t imagine having to plan and execute your wedding in 3 weeks because of such reasons…
a number of my close friends are suffering potential divorce / break-up / rejection issues of late, i find i have to use different approaches entirely.
some are more fragile, have to hold their hand through the process…
a few are just downright stupid; i just yell @ them and hope they won’t talk to me until their brain works properly
it’s really not because i’m not empathetic, i can be; but it also depends on whether i think you need it.
sometimes it takes ALOT of effort “not to say anything” than to come outright and say it.
this is one of my greatest lessons learned. to shut up and just offer silent support.
